Northeast Public Sewer District Profle

The Northeast Public Sewer District was established in 1979 as a Chapter 204 Sewer District in the State of Missouri. Under this organizational structure, the District does not levy taxes, nor does it benefit from any state, county or local taxes. We are operated solely by the income generated from monthly service charges and from connection fee revenue.

The District is organized as a political corporation and has a five member Board of Trustees to oversee the proper management of the District. The Board of Trustees are appointed to five year terms by the county government.

The day to day operations of the District is managed by the Executive Director. This position answers to the Board of Trustees and manages and directs all personnel, financial matters and operational aspects of the District. The Executive Director is responsible for carrying out the directives and decisions of the Board.
